What Is DNAA
A brief intro — where this started, where it's going.
DNAA started as a mood board. An Instagram page where I saved things I liked: objects, textures, scenes — but mostly the letter A. No real plan. Just a place to collect what caught my eye.
Over time it became something more. A way to creatively explore projects I actually wanted to make. I've always been a very thoughtful consumer and I've always thought a lot about what I bring with me and what I interact with. For a while I was doing that regularly, turning ideas into real things, and looking back, that was when I felt the most like myself.
Life gets busy. You stop making things. But the ideas don't stop, and I've been wanting to bring this energy back for a while now.
So here we are. DNAA is back, and I'm starting with some of the original pieces that people seemed to genuinely like. I'm still a little surprised — and very grateful — that people in my life supported this early on and actually wanted to spend their money on these objects. That meant a lot then and it still does.
This website is going to be a few things: a place where I post thoughts and things I like to look at, a journal for whatever I'm researching or thinking about, and a shop where I can sell some of the objects I make. Nothing overly complicated. Just a place to put it all.
Let's see where it goes.
